  • iLearn With iPad

    Having an iPad in the classroom has provided all of my students with the opportunity to use hands on technology. This iPad has given all of my students the opportunity to play educational games and interactive applications during center time. We have enjoyed being able to see what educational games and applications the iPad has to offer. My students especially enjoy being able to take pictures and videos, as well as using the editing options. Having this new technology has been good for them. Thank you for your support!”

    The supplies and workbooks donated to my classroom provided my students with more educational resources and materials. When my supplies arrived, my class was so excited to help me unbox all of the materials! They wanted to immediately put them to use! Each student was able to receive new supplies, including pencils, rulers, and more! They immediately asked who the kind people were that donated to our classroom and their learning.

    This classroom project was brought to life by Oklahoma State Department of Education.
My students were in the first grade whenever the COVID-19 pandemic started, therefore, they missed the last three months of a very crucial learning time. Naturally their reading and math skills were affected. I am doing everything I can to make up for the lost time, especially since we are preparing for upcoming state testing. Hands on experiences in math, science, and ELA areas will help gain and maintain student engagement. For that reason I have asked for math manipulatives and stem manipulatives. For ELA I’ve asked for teacher resources that will enhance our current curriculum, as well as library books to add to our classroom library.

About my class
