Exploring materials in the environment will allow my students to learn in a fun and engaging way. In the early childhood special education classroom, studies have shown that children learn best during play. I am really excited about the materials that I have chosen for my classroom. These materials will allow my students to be hands on and explore new things. These science materials will give my students fun and new experiences that they may not get at home. In the early childhood classroom we are giving students opportunities to explore a variety of materials. My students are 3-5 year olds and have short attention spans. The items that I am asking for will help add to my classroom materials and help keep my students engaged in learning.
