Due to Covid-19 many parents decided to move to virtual school. Most of my early childhood students haven’t even been in a traditional classroom. Education looks different since Covid. Virtual learners need access to the same resources as traditional schools. Paired with my Letrs training, my students will learn, through play, the fundamentals of our English language. This includes our alphabet, phonics and other valuable word work. I’ve also included money manipulatives. Given these items, students struggling with math will benefit from the opportunity to have a hands-on experience. The alphabet and phonic manipulatives will enable struggling students to see how sounds come together to make words and how to manipulate initial and final sounds. When learning through playing with these manipulatives struggling learners will make even stronger learning gains.
