• Resources for Learning and Engagement

  Using the teachers pay teachers gift card I have purchased supplemental curriculum to use daily with my students and the impact so far has been amazing!

  After being trained in Orton Gillingham, which is a program specifically designed for struggling readers and those with dyslexia, I knew this program could be the difference maker for these students. However, the training did not include all of the materials needed. With the gift cards to TPT I have been able to purchase Orton Gillingham aligned assessments and classroom material. I use this material daily when I work one-on-one with my students.

  One student started the year not knowing his consonant sounds, and just a couple of weeks ago he was able to read sentences with no errors. I had tears in my eyes as this boy who told me over and over "I can't read" read those sentences! He was so proud of himself and I was overjoyed!

• Christmas Around the World

Keeping students engaged with fun learning experiences can sometimes be a challenge due to the lack of funds. • Resources for Success

  These resources may seem small to some, but they are already making a big impact in my classroom.

  In this new school year, the fidgets and seat disks are helping my students daily to stay focused during class. While the educational resources are providing me with an incredible supplemental curriculum.

  I have students ranging from below kindergarten level up to 5th grade reading level, all in the same classroom. We began breaking into intervention groups this week, and I am using the curriculum from this grant to help me bridge the gaps in learning.
