This classroom project was brought to life by Oklahoma State Department of Education.

These items will help my students learn in a fun, creative, and welcoming environment. As a special education teacher, I feel that the environment plays a big role in the learning process. The ability to have flexible seating will allow my students not only to feel welcomed but also feel they are part of a community. This flexible seating will allow my students to interact in the general education classroom with their peers, but also give them the ability to have choices on where to sit. Community building helps our students not only learn together but also learn to read while having fun!
