I purchased books, abacuses, and whiteboards for each of my students. The abacuses and whiteboards are to help engage each student on their level of learning. Having these engaging tools for students will help them make progress on their level. They can make leaps and bounds no matter where they are starting at. The books are to help students emotionally during this COVID crisis. Helping them navigate this trying time and give them valuable emotional skills. Having visual aids and encouraging words read aloud will help them to gain more social emotional skills. The giant post-it notes are to help them with writing. The card stock is to allow me to print more durable visual aids for engagement.
