At this time in my classroom, my students sit on the carpet to read during centers. If the four bean bag seats were to be donated, my students would be able to select books and sit on comfortable seating as they read their books as part of their daily activity for the day. Having the bean bag seats would make reading fun, engaging, and less formal. During reading centers, the environment would be a time of relaxation as students dive into books! I could just see my students wanting to read even more because of the new attraction in our class---bean bag seats.
