  • Architectural Building with Art Straws

    Funded Feb 21, 2025

Thank you for donating to Tulsa MET. I’ve told my students about this project and they are so excited to get building. They have big plans for an Eiffel Tower. We are going to put our classroom teamwork into practice and get some buildings safely up in air.

Thank you so much for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brunjes Hall

  • The World Is Your Canvas!

    Funded Feb 13, 2024

Thank you so much for funding the arts at our school. We need a constant supply of fun and engaging materials to make our school run with vibrancy and creativity. Thank you for making us SHINE!!!! The donation of funding for these canvases allows us to make projects that take it to the "next level".”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brunjes Hall

  • Beauty From the Ashes

    Funded Aug 12, 2023

Thank you with the most sincere gratitude for your generosity. My students are the most determined kids I’ve worked with in my career. Helping them recover from learning loss due to Covid 19 restrictions is a huge gift towards their whole self education. You are doing the right thing, thank you for being a good human.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brunjes Hall

  • Mark Jenkins Inspired Sculpture

    Funded Feb 27, 2023

Thank you for funding the arts at Tulsa MET. I cannot wait to teach my students about Mark Jenkins and create our own on site sculptures. Working for TPS makes me feel so appreciated and optimistic.

This is going to be a great addition to our spring art lessons and group project focus at MET.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brunjes Hall

  • Hot Off The Press! Printmaking Opportunities

    Funded Feb 10, 2022

Lots of kiddos were able to make beautiful printmaking projects as a result of your generosity. Although I am no longer at this school, I know they will continue to enjoy this press for years to come. I appreciate you stepping forward to help young people learn more about art as well as finding new ways to be creative. We had a blast rolling the press and making lots of great prints as well as enough materials to make a few mistakes!! Thank you for supporting the arts in public education. We couldn't have made our goal without you.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brunjes Hall

Now that students are back in the classroom they are voicing how frustrated and under stimulated they were at Virtual School. While we as educators have tried our very best to capture their minds and hearts through virtual school, nothing compares to in person learning. The hands on nature of a printmaking press will provide my students with a unique and mentally stimulating opportunity to create art using something they have never seen before. Put those Crayola's in the drawer, it's time to roll the press and earn our printmaking stripes! Let's get excited about art class and the social fabric that is slowly woven over a year of IN PERSON learning. These printmaking tools would also promote cross curriculum knowledge in language arts. Printmaking heavily relies on text and the written word in certain lessons. There are a wealth of current printmakers I can introduce them to which will give them additional art history knowledge. Printmaking allows for spontaneity which will reach the student who has less technical skill but great creative potential. You don't really know what's going to happen until the press rolls!
