These materials are meant to take pressure off of students who are worried they don't have everything they need to be successful. This year has been hard, and students might not have everything they need to do well in school. This can lead them to be discouraged and worried about performing to a level of excellence. These stories and supplies are designed to help make my classroom a welcoming, inclusive environment where their needs are taken care of so they can focus on learning. We are often worried we aren't good enough, and that can make it hard to push ourselves to be successful. With their materials provided and needs to be met, students won't have to stress and will be able to focus on their learning and potential for growth.
