These art supplies; construction paper, stencils, markers, colored pencils, glue, will allow student to have better quality supplies to create in the class room and serve others through various projects that we do, like making cards for teachers and school staff and senior citizens. One of our students favorite project is to make para cord bracelets for our troops and veterans. Our students also serve our community by putting on carnivals at local elementary schools. The Spike ball, stacking cups and minute to win it games will contribute to these events. It will also allow our students to build better relationships with each other through team, leadership, relationship building and competition, like our towers and bridge building activities that uses tape, markers, paper clips and index cards. We will use the dominoes for our Boneyard activity that promotes sound judgement and collaboration. We will use the dice for one of our favorite activities that teach students about time and stress management. As they compete in social emotional learning activities such as the minute to win it games, spike ball, and work together, they will learn to use sound judgement and seek out opportunities to create win-win situations for them and others.
