I am incredibly grateful for the support of our community. This new classroom library will greatly improve the reading experiences of my students and all those to come! We will be able to have more meaningful literature circle discussions and expand our learning about different cultures and societies. Thank you for helping the minds of tomorrow.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Utah State Board of Education.

These books and other resources will help my students explore a more diverse reading experience. An array of genres and authors will help students learn about different cultures and historical events through reading. Academically they will improve their reading skills to help in their educational and professional future. Reading is of key importance when learning to make connections and empathize with other people and cultures. As students expand their knowledge and experiences through reading they will be more equipped to emotionally and socially connect with those around them. Reading also presents an escape for many students from the stresses created by living in a COVID-19 world.
