• Panini Press

  Funded Dec 4, 2024

  Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom project for a panini press. The students were very excited to open up the packages and see the items that they were getting. The cookbook for panini press will give our students many ideas to make on Friday's when we cook during class. The first time we used the panini press, we made garlic bread to have with our alfredo. The students enjoyed the baking process on the panini press. These items will be very helpful when planning on what we will cook during class. • Cooking Supplies

  Funded Nov 14, 2024

  Thank you very much for your generous donation to our classroom project for cooking supplies. Our students cook every Friday and the use of these new items will be very helpful throughout the school year. The items will also provide the students with meals to cook as well. We will now be able to do different cooking techniques with the new tools we have to use. The students are excited to make cookies and help cut up items using the kid safe knives. • Listening Center Headphones

  Thank you very much for helping with our project for headphones for our listening center. It will be very helpful with the students in my classroom, as many of them do not speak English. Using the headphones in the listening center, the students will be able to have the curriculum played in the language that they are most comfortable with. The use of the headphones will help with a better understanding of the material that is being covered in class. Again thank you very much for your kind generosity to help fund our project.”

• Sensory Table

  Thank you very much for your donation to out classroom project for a sensory table. The students enjoyed opening the boxes when they came in. They also helped put the table together, it was nice and easy, just put the four legs on it. It did not take long for the table to be used. The students enjoy the sand as it keeps it shape without water and they are able to mold the sand into shapes of their own imagination. This table will help some of the student throughout the day when they may need to take a break from the classroom. Again thank you very much for your generosity to our classroom.”

• Classroom Activities

  Thank you very much for your generous donation to our classroom project for the classroom activities. The students enjoyed opening the boxes to see what new items we were getting for the classroom. The puzzles and the fidget toys were a big hit. The students also enjoy the trampoline. They enjoy bouncing on it during free time. Some of the students use it to refocus and be more attentive during class. Again, we would like to thank you for helping with our classroom project, it is very kind and thoughtful of you for your generosity.”

• Cooking Equipment for Classroom

  Thank you so much for helping with our project. The cooking equipment for our classroom is going to provide the students with another skill for them to use as they move out of the classroom into the real world. The skills they will gain by following directions on the recipe and using math skills to calculate will help them immensely. The students also love making and eating the creations they make. It will give a new avenue of learning to use in the classroom as well. It will help create special learning/teaching moments in the classroom. Again thank you very much.”

• Cozy Reading Corner

  Thank you very much for donating to our project for our cozy corner. The students enjoy very much to be able to go to a comfortable spot to do their work or read a book. Some of the students in my classes have sensory and touch issues. They enjoy how soft the rug is and enjoy the feel of it on their hands. The students take turns using the bean bags. The vacuum is used weekly to sweep up the area rug. It is one of our classroom jobs that the students have. The vacuum works well on the rug and area around it. Again thank you very much for helping out with our classroom.”
