High School Engineers Designing Our Future!

Funded Apr 5, 2022

Hi, my name is Natallia. I am a student of Dr. Po And Junior at Killingly High School. We are extremely grateful that you collectively helped to donate the Killingly High School Robotics Team a printer. The addition of the printer will solve many problems and improve our work significantly.

The problems we faced with the current printer was it had left streaks across the page, in addition to this the printer was only able to print in black and white meaning that we could not use it to print our pictures or colored diagrams. This was a huge problem, the robotics team does not want to have a boring engineering notebook.

Unfortunately, due to the old broken printer, students would have to walk all the way down to the office to print something, or walk down to the library and usually the printers do not work correctly there. Students would be printing at home, using their own printers, the problem for the students using their own printers and printing a large amount of pages is that printer ink is expensive and not every family has an influx of it.

We are very grateful for having this amazing donation funded to us, my classmates and I are very excited to be receiving this new and improved printer and we thank you for your gracious contribution. We as students can do so much with this printer, we can print out papers for our engineering notebook, such as CAD's, pictures, and diagrams. As a result of your donation we will be able to purchase a printer that will provide the resources that we need next year to win a 3rd VEX Robotics World Championship in Engineering Design in 2023. Without your help we wouldn't have access to the technology necessary to win another World Championship. We are eager to see how far these printers can take our program.

My greatest appreciation,

Natallia Periquito & the entire Killingly Robotics Team
