With the ongoing pandemic, students have the need to connect with as many people as possible face to face. They need to learn how to search for answers to their many questions rather than working to be an influencer on social media that works out for such a slim group of students. I've discovered that this generation of students loves to watch you-tube videos, post on twitter, snap-chat, and instagram but when it comes to searching out information they don't know what to do. I hope to be able to bridge that learning gaps with the items that I have selected to purchase I can conduct a safe and interactive learning environment for all my students. In addition to a new projector, I've asked for some basic science materials that are commonly used in a Biology classroom. It's difficult to describe one individual lesson for the use of a projector. Projectors are used daily in all 7 of my classes. Most students are visual learners and need to see what it is I am teaching about specifically. I'm not the best artist and it's very nice to google an image quickly and post it for all students to see. I use projectors all day long and for all classes. As well as show a video that describes the lesson more in detail. I've found success in presenting a science phenomena at the beginning of each lesson, then having the students participate in a learning activity/lab that is inquiry based to help enforce the phenomena, and summarizing the lesson with a video.
