Getting more weight lifting equipment will be helpful because we can use any open space to give our students a variety of exercises that can be done with dumbbells. For example, we share our weight room with the body toning classes and we aren't able to be in the weight room for the whole class period. By having extra sets of dumbbells we can use any available space like our fitness center and do so many different exercises with this equipment. This will also give students ideas for workouts they can do at home on their own with only needing dumbbells. Not everyone can afford a gym membership, and this is a great option to teach at home workouts that can be done to improve their overall lifestyle and happiness. Now this may not be a cure for it, but by moving your body and learning how to use this weight equipment it can definitely help boost your mood. Students will also gain confidence, feel better overall about themselves and see changes in their body by getting stronger. By exercising you release endorphins that help make you happy! There are so many of us that struggle with our mental health. Thank you again for this opportunity to get this equipment for my students. I know that by getting this equipment we can help students live, laugh, and lift!
