This Elmo document camera will help my math students fill the gaps in their learning resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. My students went into quarantine at the end of their 6th grade year and continued to feel the limiting effects of the pandemic on their education during 7th grade. This year, in 8th grade, we find ourselves needing to review concepts that are normally solidified in previous years. I frequently stop instruction of new concepts to review and reteach fractions, percentages, and other skills as needed. This document camera will give me the ability to engage the class in whole class discussions using practice worksheets that the students are currently working on. It will also allow me to show student work to the rest of the class.
