    First, I would like to thank you for your patience with me as I was tarde with sending the photos of student work. The brain unit had to be pushed back until after testing.

    Nevertheless, the excitement and wonder each student showed as they moved the the dissection was priceless. It was amazing to see the light-bulb moment for many students because often times it is difficult for some to translate book knowledge to real world scenarios. Being able to see the parts of the brain we investigated in class really tied the unit together and made a huge impact on student learning. I can not thank you enough for the generosity that was shown to me and the students at William Sayre High School.”

  • Training Bodies One Mind at a Time

    You made the right decision to donate to my mission and cause. As you can see, the material you purchased was used to enhance the mental and physical prowess of many students and athletes. Not only did the donation help this year's students, but it created a buzz around the school as students in the 9th grade academy/Track and Field team were training and using training equipment that our school could not afford to put into budget. Because of the generous donation we applied to have another sport added to our school and we now have a cross country team for the first time in our school's existence. I am grateful and am looking forward to continuing our relationship as you are very important to the success of many academic programs across the country.”

Students face many challenges in the community daily, yet they come to school everyday with the expectation that they will be taught and cared for. Through the program I have developed, they are given the opportunity to not only increase their academic prowess, but strengthen their bodies as well. I use kinesthetics to enhance the learning environment as well as create a higher sense of self worth for my students and it is rewarding to watch as they increase confidence and abilities; students are empowered to grow at their own pace!

About my class
