The items I have requested will help create a more organized classroom. As well as help it become more engaging and motivating. We are so low on supplies and we do not receive any funding in the SPED department. For example, the timers are needed for when we do fluency testing and progress monitoring. The crayons are for the students when we are doing a comprehension lesson and they need to draw what happened in the story. The toys or fidgets are motivation enhancers. They are going to be rewards. Students need recognition and motivation. Each of the items I have in my donation will help with student learning in one way or another, whether it be storing resources or the use of resources in learning. We want to create lesson plans that are engaging and hands on. Giving them all materials needed to succeed. Along with an engaging, organized classroom. The past couple years have been rough on students. It is time to get them back into engagement.
