In my classroom, I see students that love to read. I have a responsibility to provide quality books, with a high interest levels, for my students. These books will help the students have access to a variety of genres and reading levels. The students will be able to access these books independently. Reading these books will help to foster a deeper love of reading. Students that read become better readers. The motivational incentives that I have included will help me recognize students for positive behaviors. It seems that this is even more important since the pandemic.
