We are engaging students to see the benefits of STEM, while also supporting community involvement in the form of a community garden. The greenhouses and gardening tools will support a longer growing season for our students so that they can see the results of their labors during the school year. We will be growing our own starters indoors and transferring them to a site on school grounds. In addition to supporting learning in the classroom during the school year, this will be an ongoing project over the summer to help support the food pantry with fresh vegetables when they are ripe.

About my class
