White board use will help promote student engagement in the learning process. It will also allow me to do quick checks to see which students are understanding what we are learning and which ones need more assistance. Novel studies have been a way to expose my students to books they haven't read before, while keeping them engaged in the process as we go. Student have learned to enjoy new books and I try to expose them to books that come in a series, so if they enjoy the first one, they have the opportunity to continue the series.
