I teach a unit about substance abuse, safety, distracted/impaired driving. I would love to have the students do field sobriety test while wearing the goggles and some other activities as well.
I would love the opportunity to engage my students more and let them see how difficult it is to do things while distracted/impaired. Because of Covid and the cost of the goggles, we have had to improvise. I would love to expand my lesson and activity with these goggles to give them more of an understanding. I want the students to see what it is like to be impaired (drunk and marijuana). With the rise of distractions (cell phones) I would also like to show them the impact it has on driving as well.
These goggles would be a great addition to my classroom and for the students.
