I am requesting a Creality Ender 3 V2 3D printer and a supply of filament to explore 3D modeling and design. In my exploring technology classes, my students learn how to draw 3D models in Autodesk Fusion 360. I am amazed at how quickly they learn and how creative their designs are. Adding a 3D printer in the classroom will enhance the students' experience and further their learning by turning their 3D designs into real, tangible objects. Printing 3D models on a new Creality Ender 3 V2 3D printer will take the engineering design process to a new level. Students will be better able to test and evaluate their designs, an important step in the engineering design process. These experiences will help inspire and motivate more students to pursue STEM education and careers.
