As a teacher with many years of experience, I can't recall a more difficult three years. The Covid 19 pandemic has made teaching and learning so much more difficult. I have a great love for teaching, and I love middle school students. They are, for the most part, eager to learn. However, it has been so much harder to teach and so much harder for them to learn these past these couple years. History is happening in Mrs. Player's classroom. I love giving students opportunities to learn the lessons of history. We learn gratitude for those who made sacrifices before us, we make connections between the past and the present, and we learn many skills of a historian that will help students be better equipped to be successful in their future. I have selected supplies to make my classroom more interesting and more organized. I have chosen a variety of supplies that will help make learning fun, and will also help both me and my students to be more organized in our learning. One project we do each year is students write their own history. Supplies on the list help accomplish this project. I am grateful for any assistance we can get to help my students thrive while learning during this difficult time. Thank you!
