Students will explore how magnets works. They will use bar magnets, iron filings, and other magnetic materials. I will use the kit to show what different magnets can look like. The students will learn about the effects of natural disasters. They will recreate tornadoes, observe a mini-lightning storm inside a plasma ball, as well as observe other weather phenomenon. Using the weather kit, we will be able to explore additional aspects of weather such as wind and precipitation. I want the students to understand how natural forces and weather effect our planet.
