We have listening centers, math, and literacy assignments every day on mp3 players and computers. It can get very noisy having so many devices going at the same time. The noise is very distracting, especially for my kids with special needs. Having individual headphones will make it possible for my students to focus on their own differentiated learning without the distraction of hearing what their friends are working on. There have been times that the students weren't able to do their assignments because there wasn't access to headphones. These headphones will be used on a daily basis by the students to complete their assignments and will make it possible for my students to focus on their own work while working in close proximity to their classmates. With their own headphones they will be able to listen and learn.
