The items I have chosen for my students, the kits, the tubs, and other materials I have selected will help my students learn a deeper meaning of the phonics of letters, vowels, vowels teams, letter blends, and digraphs. They will also be able to manipulate sounds and letter to enforce the lessons being taught. This will support the student as they learn to become skilled readers. The reading process can be hard, and these tools will help those students who struggle with the print or abstract learning styles. I would love to use these in small group and whole-group class instruction. These materials will allow me to implement best practices in reading.
