My students need magnetic white boards to put in each of their hands. We use whiteboards everyday, but we have just laminated paper to use at this time. We would really like to use the whiteboards with the magnetic numbers to be able to create students who are fluent in math, by creating problems and solving them. My students need math literature to clearly explain the subjects in a way that they will remember and apply. My students need games and manipulatives to help them achieve a strong number sense and basic facts. Math is best taught through engaging stories, hands on activities, and game play. My students need these resources to accomplish our goal of fostering a life long love of math. By using these resources each day, my students will be engaged, practice their math facts, take a responsibility in the process of learning, and solidify the basic math facts that will help them succeed in math for every grade. I feel the salt lamps will create an atmosphere that will foster learning and clear brain waves. These kids are the future of our country. They are our next engineers, doctors, scientists, mathematicians, and teachers. We want them to be successful in becoming all they hope and dream, and changing the world for the better. Please help our classroom be the next tomorrow.
