Covid 19 has brought much anxiety and stress to students and their families and has affected their finances, emotions, and worries about the future. Students with this project will self-regulate their emotions, reclaim control, and be ready to learn. When they can read calming books, use a manipulative to manage stress, and find a quiet place to reset, they can remove obstacles to learning. When students learn they can keep their power, even during adversity, they know they are powerful and unstoppable. They just need to take a minute to process stress, and build resilience. They may use a tool or strategy to cope, but they never quit! They learn after setbacks, they can bounce back!
