Flexible seating for students has been shown to improve focus and learning. As students have more choice in where and how they complete assigned tasks, they are more likely to perform at higher levels and with greater focus. With unique seating options, like camp chairs, bungee chairs, and accent ottomans, students will find more comfort in the classroom. Some students like to sit on the floor to complete their work. Since our district requires students to work at either a desk or table, the lap desks will allow students to sit on the floor and still have their devices on a sturdy surface. This project will help students have more choice in their learning and provide them with a learning space where they can focus and perform to their potential.
