The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in our classroom, especially in social studies. I use the whiteboards to deliver information, show videos, demonstrate activities and as a place for students to demonstrate their learning. Unfortunately my school does not provide this basic equipment and it falls upon my shoulders to purchase and install. In the past I have used melamine boards that are extremely inferior as they scratch easily, stain, do not erase and are uneven. A new whiteboard would greatly impact my students ability to learn effectively.
