I always tell my students that science and math are best friends. We use calculators almost every day in the science classroom. We need a class set of calculators so everyone can work together. At this point, some of my students are using their smartphones and some are using the calculator on the chrome book. A class set would unify the classroom and no one would feel left out. I'm also asking for a DVD/cd player to show educational videos that the district has previously purchased. Video clips are a great tool to assist students in gaining a deeper understanding of content.
