These resources will be used in the classroom to help my students with early reading skills as well as early math skills. These resources will be used in small groups as well as independent work. I have included a lot of hands on activities that I believe will help my students learn their letter names, first sounds, and recognize and build CVC words. These resources will also help my students learn to work together in groups because I included a lot of items that students can complete together. These activities will focus on sharing skills as well as peer support for things like letter names and sounds, and writing words/coming up with sentences with the words they have created. I also included multiple math activities for my students to learn number names as well as counting, one-to-one correspondence, and basic addition and subtraction. I plan to use these items to give my students exposure to different types of learning materials. Hands on learning is extremely important to me and to the development of my kindergarten students. I believe these resources will be used for years to come!
