Research shows that activity and learning go hand in hand. I would like to give my students an opportunity to try working their bodies and minds together while learning. I propose a purchase of some standup desks with swinging bars for their feet and a couple of bike pedals for under the desk movement. I feel that I will see fewer students groggy and falling asleep from sitting at a desk for long periods of time. I expect to see better learning when their body and mind are working together to achieve learning.
