Students have a variety of learning styles. These pieces will allow my students to create a comfortable learning environment and will get them out of their normal seating areas. Flexible seating helps with collaboration and community by offering choice in small groups for discussion, while also providing a safe learning environment for those students who also need to move while learning. For the students who may need a private learning place, this seating allows for comfort while they learn. A student centered environment cuts down on behavior if used with good classroom management and allows for the teacher to become a facilitator in the room. Collaboration in any subject is the key to retaining content and flex spaces are essential.
