These materials will help my students be more engaged in a lesson through creative ways to respond. This will allow them to share ideas and listen to others comments in a fun way. I also want to improve my students reading by having a class novel that will get their attention. By them having their own book, this will allow them to listen and follow along with the story. These two items will help my students in engagement and fluency. This will also provide a sense of community in the classroom.
