Maintaining focused attention for any amount of time has been difficult for the majority of my class this year. With chair bands, seat cushions, and wobble stools I'm hoping that the students will be able to get the movement that their minds and bodies need so that they can better focus on learning all that they can. These are creative and active students who learn best with hands on activities. Many students struggled to grasp abstract concepts without tactile exploration, when they were participating in virtual learning. The fraction tiles will help keep that engagement momentum moving as students explore fractions and make connections using these learning tools. Thank you for making my classroom more inclusive of different learning styles!
