I am a 4th year school counselor who has seen a dramatic increase in the social and emotional needs of my students. I am getting more and more self-referrals, parent referrals, admin referrals, as well as teacher referrals. The pandemic has definitely contributed to these growing needs. I will use these tools to address the wide variety of issues that my students are facing on a daily basis, as well as to address issues that teachers request I teach class by class. Issues such as anxiety, grief, friendship skills, emotional regulation and coping skills. These resources will also help me with individual and group counseling, and will make learning exciting!
