The purpose of my class is to help students become the most career-ready audio engineers and music producers they can be. That means they need to know what it's like to work in a real recording studio setting. In a real recording studio, students will encounter fresh guitar strings, new drum heads, and a whole world of virtual instruments at their fingers. This is what I hope to emulate in my classroom. The flash drive will be used store more virtual instruments that the students did not have access to due to a lack of space. The strings will be used to make sure our studio instruments sound as professional as possible. The hearing protection is to ensure that none of my students suffer hearing loss while recording drums.
