I am a traveling teacher and take the classroom and materials to my students. These materials allow me to target the individual needs of my students. These materials and kits are perfect to meet the needs of several of my students. Students with any type of hearing loss struggle to hear subtle differences in words and sounds. This can impact their reading, spelling, and most of all their comprehension. I have asked for the Phonemic Awareness Centers, Build a Word, Ending Sounds, and Word Building Bins to target those subtle differences. I have also asked for items that build students' overall language skills including Storytelling Kits, Storytelling Puppets, English Language Development Centers and Cards, as well as the Social-Emotional Storytelling kits and books. Books are an amazing way to share rich vocabulary with students. It allows them to ask and answer questions, look at illustrations, talk about their own experiences and the kits allow students to interact with the story. Thank you for your consideration.
