The materials and supplies that I have requested for my students will help keep them healthy and in school. When a student is complaining of a headache, toothache, or stomachache the medication that I am requesting will help alleviate those conditions, which in turn will allow the student back to class to continue learning. The thermometers will help keep track of fevers in my schools, allowing a healthy learning environment. Got ice? We give out lots of ice packs a day and these ice packs can help a student with minor injuries return to class in a more timely manner. Again, my goal with these supplies is to get my students back to class as quickly as possible after not feeling well or being injured. I have been wanting Stop the Bleed kits/Tourniquets since attending a training. These kits will be extremely useful in the event of a major accident. These kits/tourniquets could save a life! My goal as the school nurse is to keep my students in class as much as possible, and these supplies will help assist with that.
