I am requesting decodable phonics readers and seat sacks to store them in. We are also adding other books to our classroom and incentives for my students. Decodable readers are our focus this year. We have very few available in our classroom and most are black and white. I am excited for students to have fun, colored books with more interesting plots to help them practice the phonics skills we are working to master each week. Students will have seat sacks to keep their own decodable books that will make them easily accessible to students to practice. Students will also receive beads that they can earn as they read, have a happy attitude, and make positive choices in class.
