Two fifth grade classes made rigid heddle back strap looms and now the children need yarn to weave their fabric! Their fabric is being used to sew bags for their recorders they’ve been learning to play in music class! The children have already glued together their rigid heddles and cut their warp threads and are excited to start weaving! These looms are portable; they can be packed away and taken on walks through the school grounds where we can tie them to the fence and weave outside in the sunshine!
