These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them more individualized learning options. For example, for some of the struggling reading in my classroom, they can use the magnetic wands or dotters to practice phonemic awareness and say each individual sound in a word. For those students who are close to grade level, but still struggling a little bit, they can use the little readers to read with a partner or in a small group. For those student who are on grade level or above grade level, they can independently read one of the chapter books or do some writing on their own. These skills can be used at school or at home.
