My students must keep up with the latest advancements in science to spark an interest in analyzing the phenomenon we propose them on SEEDStory. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom like to explore the theory we talk about in our science class. We need the microscope to answer some questions they come up, like “why matter is shaped like that?” “Can we shape in a different form?” We are a DLI class and to support science and language at same time they do experiments and present what they have discovered and how doing a presentation to the other classes. We would use the clickers to help them with their presentations, when they have to practice speaking to a large group in their second language and also to present their phenomenon and results, it’s amazing to see their work live and on google presentation. We need goggles for all the science experiments we do in class. For instance, when teaching "matter" we do experiments such as "elephant toothpaste" that use chemicals and students need to be protected with goggles. These hands-on activities assure students success in their learning, not only they are prepared for the tests but they are prepared to face whatever come their way. I want to reach them to be curious, to have a critical thought, to not settle, to bring real life to school and become whatever they want to be because they have all the knowledge and tools to achieve their goals.
