The desk, yoga mats and light covers all help create a warm, inviting space in which students will be able to read and learn. The books will add to our classroom library and they go across a broad range of genres, authors and reading levels so there will be a book to suit all readers. I want students to find themselves in books, to know they're not alone in whatever struggles they face and to be able to feel comfort as they deal with their emotions. We work hard on self-knowledge and regulation, coaching each other as we navigate the world of the past few years.
