My school does not have a budget to invest in hands on science kits. The curriculum that we are provided consists of book work only. I try to make science something that is enjoyable. I have spent my own money and asked for parent donations to purchase supplies for science. I feel that it should be an engaging and exciting experience for students. They learn better with hands on activities and real investigation. These kits would allow students to collaborate, discuss and investigate. I would love for my students to be excited about science. The kits would provide that for my students this year and many years to come!
