We need materials to help us reach our academic goals in 2nd grade and thrive in our learning! In my second grade classroom, we have tables which means we have to find new ways to keep our supplies organized. The seat sacks will be so my students have somewhere to store all of their supplies, unfinished projects, and writing journals. It will also help us eliminate the times out of our seats to get supplies that can cause disruptions and provide us more time to learn. Nobody will have to share materials because it will be right there for us. This will also keep students' tables cleaned off so that my students will have more room to work, write, create, and read. Please help us keep our classroom organized by helping us get these new seat sacks that are very durable for my students this year and for years to come.
HELP STUDENTS FOCUS! These privacy shields are a must-have for students because they help eliminate distractions in the classroom. My students need a way to complete work and tests on their own without being distracted by the people at their table.
The dry erase boards and markers will be used in both small and large groups. They have small lines, so it will help them be able to write neatly.
Covid-19 has impacted learning over the past two years because my second graders have never had a normal school year. In Kindergarten they missed vital phonics skills to get them where they need to be. The phonics tubs would provide a hands-on center when I am working with small groups on literacy skills.
The journals and lights will give us a safe and comfortable space to start our morning.
