During our small group time, students are putting to practice what we have learned throughout the week. Having engaging independent centers will increase productive learning time while reducing behaviors that could be a result of boredom. The phonics stamps, magnetic letters with magnetic boards will allow them to practice focus sounds and spelling patterns during their independent time. These are great tools since the rigger can be adjusted to meet the student needs. They will also enjoy working with other materials and not just paper and pencil. The face masks for both myself and the students will add a layer of safety for when we are in the classroom. The masks get lost, dirty, or wet while they're at recess. By having extras in the classroom, we can stay safe and continue the learning.
