First off, COVID has changed how we do many things at school. The air purifier will help us all be more comfortable in the classroom, thus offering COVID relief in the most basic form. Also, we will be using the art materials as part of an art/math cross-curriculum activity where we illustrate Fibonacci's Theorem in an art project. The main thing my students need is an opportunity to reconnect socially with others and also with themselves. The games will be a big extra for us to help kids start opening up and interacting again. I like to use games to review our content material but also to just have some fun and get students interacting. They seem to love the Harry Potter focus, and we use that to create healthy motivation between classes. All of these things will do something to help our kids continue their social-emotional learning. Thank you for this amazing project.
